The Arctic is under threat from climate change, oil & gas and cargo ships crossing the Arctic. Climate change is faster and more severe in the Arctic than in most of the world. The Arctic is warming at a rate of almost twice the global Arctic. This is threatening life in the Arctic, not just to our beloved Arctic Fox but all manners of other creatures such as the Polar Bear Walrus, Narwhale, many species of Seals, Whales, Birds... the list goes on.
Furthermore, due to increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, the world's oceans are now more acidic than ever. Acidic water interferes with the development of coral reefs and the shells of oysters, crabs, snails and plankton, just to name a few.
